This Journal was started in 2004 to map the adventures of an English girl deep in the mysterious Far East.
I spent a year teaching English in the South of China, having reluctantly torn myself away from the joys of student life and not really knowing what to do with myself post-degree.
Several years on I still don't really know what to do with myself, but I get by.

""We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars" [Oscar Wilde]"

"One minute was enough, Tyler said, a person had to work hard for it, but a minute of perfection was worth the effort. A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection."
[Fight Club Chuck Palahniuck]
